horizon, each photograph is a pause, a moment in which the sea ceases to be a landscape to become memory, silence, and inner space.
Inspired by the minimalist Hiroshi Sugimoto’s seascapes, this series seeks to represent the landscape through its essential elements: the horizon, the light, and the relationship between sky and sea.
Each horizon and shift in light offers a different image, yet all are part of the same reality. The seas are connected by currents that traverse the planet, linking distant shores and creating a continuity that unites different points on Earth.
Water knows no territories or borders; the place loses its importance.
