Day 1 Asilah
We recommend flights FR2391/20 Departure from Málaga 14:50 / Arrival in Tangier 14:40
- Workshop begins 14 km at Ibn Battuta Airport Tangier at 3:00 PM
- Private transfer by minibus to Asilah (40km)
- Check-in at Riad Dar Manara in Asilah. Exclusive riad for workshop members only.
- Welcome tea
- Photography workshop presentation. Delivery of documentation, explanations of the narratives to be developed during the workshop.
- First outing: Photographic meeting in the Medina of Asilah and sunset at the Krikia Viewpoint
- Dinner on your own (recommended Restaurant Dar Al Maghrebia) and the possibility of attending a wonderful Andalusian music concert held every Saturday.
Day 2 - Asilah
- 07:00 Morning walk through the deserted Medina with the light of dawn
- 08:00 Breakfast
- 09:00 We will walk to the port area to see fishermen working on the nets and boats. We will visit the old Spanish neighborhood with picturesque houses, the Catholic Church of San Bartolomé, the old Market, and finally discover the Ahfir souk, a street market for everyday shopping.
- 14:00 Private lunch included at Riad Dar Manara. Typical dishes of the rich Moroccan cuisine.
- 16:30 Walk through the Medina, this time with shops open.
- 18:30 Sunset on the beach in front of the walls
- Dinner not included (recommendation Restaurant La Place)
Day 3 - Asilah - Tangier
- 07:00 Morning walk through the deserted medina with the light of dawn
- 08:00 Breakfast
- 09:00 Transfer to Tangier with several stops to visit the Hercules Caves area and the Cap Spartel lighthouse (possibility to go up to the lighthouse).
- 13:00 Visit to the Tangier souk full of visual, olfactory, sensory stimuli...
- 14:30 Lunch on your own (Hamadi restaurant recommended)
- 16:00 Walk along Boulevard Pasteur in Tangier, the Lazy Viewpoint, the Spanish area and the Cathedral, the Great Mosque...
- 17:00 Walk through the Medina of Tangier, a much busier place than Asilah
- 18:00 Tea at the iconic Hafa café
- 20:00 Pick-up in private minibus for transfer to the airport
- END of the photography workshop

The experience doesn’t end upon returning. Photographs need time to acquire meaning.
That’s why we’ll meet again to select and shape a travel journal , a visual notebook of 14 photographs, where each image finds its place and every memory becomes a personal story…
The workshop includes:
- 3 days of photographic experience in Tangier and Asilah
- Transfers in a private mini bus
- 2 nights in a luxury Riad in Asilah with breakfast (individual supplement to be confirmed)
- 1 private traditional Moroccan dinner
- 2 group sessions at Colectivo Imagen Fuengirola (2 hours each) after the trip for image selection and creation of a travel log
- 1 book 14km to do your own travel log with 14 images
- Small group, maximum 7 people
